Big News and a New Beginning
There’s someone we want you to meet!
Whit Marshall (UGA Football Letterman ’92-’95) is making Bulldog Nation proud! Mr. Marshall is the CEO of Paran Homes, based out of Duluth, Ga. You’ll be hearing a lot about him from us in the coming months because today, he helped procure property for the Gales’ family home!
WE’RE BUILDING A HOUSE IN JEFFERSON Y’ALL!
Founding Partner and Paran Homes CEO Whit Marshall is no stranger to Bulldog Nation, nor is he hesitant about helping others. When many others were unable to help our builder, Mike Elrod with Currahee Homes, Mr. Marshall not only agreed to take on this venture for Devon and his family, he enthusiastically responded with “I’m all in! Whatever you need!” Mr. Marshall has also lent a philanthropic hand to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and to Toys for Tots. In next month’s newsletter, we will feature an interview with Whit Marshall, plus share what our next steps are to break ground on the Gales family home in Jackson County!
The Best is Yet to Come
It’s tough being apart. Devon, along with his mother, brother, and sister, have been living in a rental house in Gwinnett County while father Donny is working in Louisiana. But this has been a good week for the family to be together! They now have a piece of property all their own for their future home!
Tish, who attentively cares for Devon every day, says “we are so excited about this breakthrough, and we feel so blessed to have people who want to see this through. It means so much to Donny and I as parents and providers, that we are ecstatic and forever grateful.” And on Devon finally getting a home where he’ll have handicap accessible facilities, Tish says “Devon is overjoyed and is so ready to be able to move around and have his independence back!”
